Acceptance
By using citesafe.co or related demos, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy page.
Who operates CiteSafe
CiteSafe is operated by Sharmarke Mohamud (Marké) under Marké Consulting Group (“MCG,” “we,” “us”). Contact: press@projectmarke.com.
The service
CiteSafe helps check whether citations appear to exist and surfaces risk labels such as Verified, Needs Review, or Could Not Verify. Existence does not mean a case supports your argument, is good law, or is correctly characterized.
Your responsibilities
- You remain solely responsible for filings, assignments, and professional duties.
- Confirm critical citations on Westlaw, Lexis, or official reporters before filing.
- Do not use CiteSafe to commit fraud, mislead a court or school, or violate rules of professional conduct.
- Only upload documents you are authorized to process.
Beta software
Features may be incomplete, change, or contain errors. Results are provided “as is” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Accounts & acceptable use
Keep credentials secure. Do not reverse engineer, overload, or resell the service without written permission. We may suspend access for abuse or risk to the service.
Intellectual property
CiteSafe branding, site design, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You retain rights to documents you upload; you grant us a limited license to process them solely to provide the service.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for sanctions, lost profits, or professional discipline arising from use of CiteSafe. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing).
Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance.
