Frequently asked questions
What am I paying for?
Capacity and model depth. Free Beta includes 3 checks with Scout. Student is $30/mo and Pro is $99.99/mo for Clerk with 50 checks. Extraordinaire is $199/mo with Heavy 5.0 and 200 checks. Enterprise is custom for firms and schools.
What counts as an upload?
One paste or file run through verify = one upload against your monthly limit.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No long-term commitment on self-serve plans. Manage or stop billing from your Stripe receipt / customer portal after checkout.
Is this KeyCite or Shepard’s?
No. CiteSafe checks citation existence and fabrication risk against named layers (heuristics, corpus, public indexes). It does not sell negative treatment history. See Sources for full methodology.
Is this legal advice?
No. CiteSafe is a verification tool. Attorneys remain responsible for every citation before filing.
What if I need more than 200 uploads?
