What is Confidential Mode?
Our core trust feature. Default is cite-only: we extract public citation strings in your browser. Full memo narrative does not leave unless you deliberately arm Full document. Software does not create attorney–client privilege. Security →
Is this legal advice?
No. CiteSafe is a verification aid. You (or supervising counsel) remain responsible for every authority before filing.
Is this KeyCite or Shepard’s?
No. We check existence and fabrication-risk signals with named layers. We do not sell full negative treatment history as a citator product.
Does CiteSafe store my brief?
Default verify does not store request bodies in a CiteSafe database. Free beta history often stays in your browser. See Privacy and Security pages.
Can I upload Word/PDF?
Paste text is the most reliable path today. Plain .txt works. Full PDF/DOCX extraction is improving — Word add-in reads the live document.
